Position Available
Role Title: Project Cleaning Technician
Location: Timmins, ON
Job Type: Temporary Contract (2+ Months)
Job Schedule: Full-Time - Nights, 12 Hour Shifts, Monday to Friday. With potential of becoming full-time permanent
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform detailed cleaning on project-based assignments (post-construction, deep cleaning, industrial and commercial sites, etc)
- Complete tasks such as carpet cleaning, floor care (scrubbing, stripping, waxing), window cleaning, etc.
- Operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and efficiently
- Perform general cleaning duties including but limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping windows/surfaces, etc.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Empty garbage’s and recycling bins
- Restocking of Supplies; Paper Towel, Toilet Paper, Soap
- Communicating with supervisor(s)
- Report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, stock issues, client issues etc.…
- Managing Site Inventory: Placing orders for supplies & equipment
- Vacuuming: Carpet, Runners, Regular Maintenance on Equipment
- Responsible for Site Security: Alarm Codes & Keys
- Documenting Completed Tasks in Communication Binder if available
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is consistently maintained
- Follow company health and safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with own mode of transportation
- Must be bondable and legally able to work in Canada
- Previous professional cleaning experience required
- Must be flexible
- Must be able to work nights
- Must be willing and able to travel
- Ability to lift, carry, and move packages up to 50lbs
- Strong time management and organization skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Previous cleaning experience considered an asset
Compensation and Benefits
- Wage Range: $20-$22/hour
- Health Spending Account (Available for Full-Time Permanent Employees)
