Full Stack Software Developer

• Building scalable and performant software using software engineering best practices
• Analyzing requirements from traders and analysts for algorithmic trading

• A Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
• 3 to 7 years of experience building software systems
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices
• Self-directed, proactive and able to drive work forward independently.
• Good knowledge and experience in at least 1 of the following: JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJs, React, and Python. Experience in more than one is an asset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Dedicated team player and a passionate problem solver with strong interpersonal skills
• Experience with any of these technologies is an asset: Redis, RabbitMQ, GraphQL, MongoDB, Docker, WebSocket, AMQP, TCP, HTTP
• Experience with relational databases is an asset (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle)
