Regulatory Affairs Manager GAPAC (China Focus) Location: China # About the Role # We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager to join our team, supporting the Greater Asia Pacific (GAPAC) region with a primary focus on China. Our business develops and markets feed ingredients including vitamins, carotenoids and other nutritional solutions. # This role is responsible for managing product registrations and regulatory compliance activities in China, while providing support across selected GAPAC markets. The position requires close collaboration with external registration agents, regulatory authorities, manufacturing sites, commercial teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure business continuity and compliant growth. # Key Responsibilities * Lead product registration and renewal activities in China, including dossier preparation, document compilation, submission management, and regulatory authority interactions. * Coordinate registration projects with manufacturing sites, external regulatory consultants, registration agents, and government authorities to ensure timely approvals and renewals. * Manage post-approval regulatory activities, including specification changes, manufacturing site changes, administrative updates, and other registration maintenance activities. * Monitor and interpret Chinese feed regulations and regulatory developments, assess business impact, and drive implementation of regulatory requirements. * Ensure ongoing compliance of registered products and support regulatory risk assessments for feed ingredients and nutritional solutions. * Prepare, review, and approve China-compliant product labeling and regulatory documentation. * Support customer inquiries, customer portals, and commercial teams with regulatory guidance and compliance-related information. * Provide regulatory support for selected GAPAC markets, including country registration management, import license requirements, and customer support activities. * Support regional business initiatives, key customer projects, and distributor management activities across the GAPAC region. * Collaborate closely with Commercial, R&D, Quality, Product Stewardship, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to enable compliant business growth. # What we look for in you * A genuine passion for regulatory affairs, scientific excellence, and enabling compliant, customer-focused business solutions. * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Animal Nutrition, Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, Toxicology, or a related Life Science discipline. * Minimum of 5 years of Regulatory Affairs experience in the feed, feed additive, animal nutrition, or related industry. * Strong knowledge of Chinese feed regulations and product registration requirements; experience with GAPAC regulatory frameworks is highly desirable. * Proven experience managing product registrations, renewals, and regulatory change management processes. * Ability to work independently with a high degree of ownership, structure, and sound judgment while managing multiple regulatory priorities across diverse markets. * Strong stakeholder management and project coordination skills, including experience working with external regulatory agents and government authorities. * Proactive, solution-oriented, and business-focused mindset. * Fluent English (written and spoken) is required. Working proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is highly desirable due to frequent interactions with local registration agents, authorities, and regulatory documentation in China. Additional Asian language skills are considered an advantage.
