Job Title – Technician, Electrical Maintainance City, Country – Asoj, Vadodara, India At dsm-firmenich, being a force for good is not optional. Your key responsibilities: * Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment. * Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of HT/LT electrical systems and plant equipment. * Troubleshoot and repair motors, MCCs, PCCs, transformers, DG sets, switchgear, VFDs, and electrical control circuits. * Carry out installation, testing, commissioning, and modification of electrical equipment, wiring, and power distribution systems. * Perform routine inspections, motor health checks, insulation testing, and cable fault identification. * Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, LOTO procedures, permit-to-work systems, and statutory requirements. * Maintain electrical drawings, maintenance records, equipment history cards, and spare parts inventory. * Support shutdown maintenance, reliability improvement projects, and energy conservation initiatives. * Coordinate with production, engineering, contractors, and utility teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operations. * Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability. * Ensure minimum downtime of production and utility equipment. * Support operation and maintenance of compressors, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, and water treatment systems from an electrical perspective. * Monitor electrical parameters and identify energy-saving opportunities. * Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, sensors, limit switches, solenoid valves, and instrumentation interfaces. Required Qualifications * ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering. * Valid Electrical Wireman/Supervisor License (preferred). * Knowledge of Indian Electrical Standards and safety regulations. You bring. * ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 6- 8 years of relevant industrial experience. * Valid Electrical Wireman/Supervisor License (preferred). * Strong Knowledge of Indian Electrical Standards and safety regulations. * Hands-on experience with HT/LT Electrical Systems, Motors & Motor Control Centers (MCC), Transformers & DG Sets, VFDs & Soft Starters, Electrical Panels & Switchgear. * Familiar with safety protocols and standards. * Ability to work independently and in a team. * Good communication and problem-solving skills.
