Key Responsibilities:

This consulting role will support both Data Solutions and Enterprise Data teams to ensure maximum value from the Snowflake platform.

The initial scope will focus on Snowflake and its offerings, with expansion to include all available data cloud tooling as the role matures:

  • Data Classification
  • Data Tagging
  • Intelligent Metadata Tagging
  • Snowflake Cortex
  • Virtual Private Snowflake (VPS)
  • Snowflake Containers
  • New Snowflake features in public and private preview
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Platform Ownership – Work with cross-functional stakeholders to execute strategy and achieve business goals.
  • Product Vision & Strategy – Define and align the product vision with business and IT objectives; collaborate with other product managers across teams.
  • Roadmap Planning – Maintain and align the data cloud product roadmap with business and platform goals.
  • Transparency & Reporting – Provide visibility into roadmap progress, KPIs, operating expenses, and business value.
  • Stakeholder Management – Collaborate with IT platform teams, application development teams, architecture, business lines, and corporate functions.
  • Feature Prioritization – Prioritize product features based on business impact and IT alignment.
  • Budget Management – Oversee budget planning, ensuring cost-effective development and resource allocation.
  • Vendor Management – Manage relationships with Snowflake and other vendors to ensure successful integration of services and technologies.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities to leverage new Snowflake features and capabilities.
Key Deliverables Include:
  • Alignment and Data Sharing Strategies
  • Onboarding, Usage & Cost Metrics – Stakeholder coordination and operational implementation.
  • Intake & Prioritization Process – Defining how new projects are assessed and executed.
  • Budget Planning & Documentation Support
  • Snowflake Feature Plan & Roadmap – Tracking and managing the adoption of new Snowflake features.
  • Business Line & Corporate Function Alignment – Ensuring cross-team collaboration and data governance.
  • Governance & Compliance Augmentation – Strengthening governance policies around Snowflake usage.
  • $3M Snowflake Professional Services Management – Overseeing contracts, engagements, and value delivery.
  • Innovation & Service Offering Expansion – Evaluating future Snowflake services for potential integration.
  • Service Demand Assessments – Identifying demand trends for Snowflake tools and capabilities.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience: 10+ years in product management, with a focus on data warehousing, analytics, or cloud-based platforms.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in SQL, ETL processes, data modeling.
    • Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data platforms.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis abilities, with experience deriving actionable insights from complex datasets.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to work independently and as part of a team to solve complex problems.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Product management, data analytics, or Snowflake-related certifications.
