With enterprise-grade governance, flexible model choice, and a collaborative interface for humans and agents to work together, Dust empowers AI Operators at the world’s fastest-moving companies to rewire how work gets done.
With 70%+ weekly active users, people stick with Dust as much as they do with Slack and Notion. We don't get piloted and shelved. We land once, and spread. We're at an exciting stage of our journey, and growing fast.
We're serving great customers like Datadog, 1Password, Cursor, Clay, Vanta and Persona, and aim to x5 our growth by the end of 2026.
Dust is backed by Sequoia with a determined team of optimists (coming from Stripe, OpenAI, and Stanford) who like to focus on users, ship fast, and don't take themselves too seriously while doing so. The Generalist named us among the Future 50.
We’re looking for a Technical Product Marketer to make the value of Dust undeniable through product storytelling.
Your job is to show, not tell, the value of Dust through demo videos, product walkthroughs, and high-quality assets that work across the funnel, from awareness to activation. You’ll turn complex, powerful product capabilities into clear, compelling narratives that make Dust’s value immediately tangible to prospects and users.
You bring technical curiosity, narrative judgment, hands-on product fluency, and excellent taste. You can move fluidly across formats, whether that puts you in front of the camera or behind the edit. And you understand that the best demo isn’t a feature tou, it’s a story that makes the value click.
Responsibilities
~1 min readTurn complex product capabilities into clear narratives that resonate with technical and non-technical audiences.
Partner closely with Engineering and Design to stay ahead of the roadmap and identify the strongest stories behind new capabilities.
Define how features, workflows, and use cases should be demoed across launches, campaigns, and sales.
Own the demo environment, keeping it current, polished, and ready for any audience or context.
Build and maintain a high-quality library of demo videos across use cases, personas, and stages of the customer journey.
Produce product walkthroughs, explainer, launch videos, and short-form assets that show Dust in action.
Take assets from initial concept through scripting, production, and final delivery.
Set and maintain a high creative bar: every asset should make the product’s value immediately clear and uphold Dust’s brand.
Proactively produce assets for feature launches so that strong product storytelling is built into the launch process from the start.
Produce scalable content that can be reused across channels and customer touch points.
Create reusable templates, systems, and production workflows that help the marketing team move faster without sacrificing quality.
Partner cross-functionally to adapt core product stories for different audiences and needs.
Requirements
~1 min read4–6 years of experience product marketing, solutions engineering, or a related role with a strong portfolio of demo videos and product assets
Ability to independently produce high-quality demo and explainer videos without relying on dedicated production resources
Strong product intuition: you can quickly learn a complex product, identify what matters, and find the right angle that makes it land
Excellent storytelling skills and a clear understanding of the difference between showing features and telling a compelling product story
Proficiency with screen recording, video editing, and design tools such as Screen Studio, After Effects, Jitter, Figma, or equivalent; motion graphics experience is a plus
Deep fluency with AI tools: you use them actively and can demonstrate an AI product with credibility because they are already part of how you work
Experience at a product-led growth or developer tools company where the product itself is central to the marketing
Background in engineering, product, or design
Familiarity with building demo environments or sandbox accounts for sales/marketing use
What We Offer
~1 min readWe're prioritizing building our team with an in-person culture at our offices in Paris, San Francisco, and New York because we value the magic that happens when talented people work closely together.
We have an office-first culture. Some of the best things about building at Dust are the energy, the fast decisions, and the unexpected conversations that unlock a hard problem, which happen because we are in the same room. Being together is not a formality, it is how we do our best work, and it is something we actively protect.
That said, we hire people with strong judgement and we extend that trust to how they manage their time. When working from home makes more sense for what you need to get done that day, we trust you to make that call.
The models are powerful enough. What's missing is the product layer where AI meets how companies actually work. That's what we're building: the infrastructure that lets any team turn scattered knowledge and tools into coordinated execution with agents they build, own, and run themselves.
We use Dust ourselves every day. We get to shape how humans and agents collaborate while solving our own problems with the product we ship. That loop is rare, and it's why we move fast.
If you're excited about defining a new category and want to join a determined team of optimists who focus on users, ship fast, and don't take themselves too seriously, we'd love to talk.
Even if you don't check every box in our requirements, we encourage you to apply. We value diverse perspectives and backgrounds, and we're more interested in your potential and passion than a perfect match to our checklist.
