Responsibilities
~1 min read- Own and manage the SQL DB Agent product roadmap, aligned with OASIS program goals, platform strategy, and operational priorities
- Define and maintain the product vision, scope, and backlog (features, integrations, reliability improvements, automation enhancements)
- Define standard service offerings and operational requirements for the SQL DB Agent capability (deployment models, supported versions, integrations)
- Establish governance for configuration standards, compatibility matrices, and approved patterns across accounts
- Drive adoption of standard processes, documentation, and runbooks for consistent delivery
- Maintain lifecycle oversight for agent components, including version control, supportability, EOS/EOL tracking, and upgrade plans
- Ensure alignment with security, compliance, and audit requirements (hardening, credential handling, access control, data handling)
- Identify and mitigate product risks impacting estate coverage, telemetry quality, compliance, or service continuity
- Partner with SMEs and operations to support installation, onboarding, configuration, troubleshooting, and operational readiness
- Ensure integration with key processes and tools (e.g., monitoring, ticketing, CMDB, reporting, patch orchestration where applicable)
- Drive estate onboarding plans and adoption targets to improve coverage and service maturity
- Identify opportunities to improve automation, self-healing, and operational efficiency through agent capabilities
- Prioritize enhancements that reduce manual effort, improve data quality, and increase compliance outcomes
- Define and track KPIs such as agent coverage, deployment success rate, data quality, telemetry timeliness, compliance reporting accuracy, and incident trends
- Provide executive-ready updates on roadmap progress, adoption, risks, and measurable outcomes
- Act as primary interface between engineering, security, operations, delivery teams, and program leadership
- Align priorities across stakeholders and ensure transparent decision-making and delivery execution
