Join a remote product management team transforming the employee benefits insurance experience through innovative cloud software and AI-powered solutions. In this role, you will define and execute product strategy, shaping solutions that help benefits professionals work more efficiently and deliver greater customer value. You will lead roadmap development, prioritize features, and translate customer needs into actionable product requirements. Working closely with engineering, design, customer experience, sales, and external partners, you will drive workflow automation, integrations, and data-driven decision-making. You will also champion product adoption, measure performance, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to influence product direction, solve complex industry challenges, and help deliver scalable technology solutions in a collaborative environment.

  • Define and manage product roadmaps and release plans for one or more related products, balancing strategic priorities with operational execution.
  • Translate product backlogs into actionable user stories, detailed requirements, and acceptance criteria while supporting quarterly planning processes.
  • Conduct market research, exploratory research, and competitive benchmarking to identify customer needs, product gaps, and growth opportunities.
  • Use customer feedback, market insights, and data analysis to inform product strategy, feature prioritization, and business decisions.
  • Drive end-to-end workflow automation through integrations, AI-powered solutions, and agentic technologies that address customer challenges.
  • Collaborate with software development, architecture, user experience, customer experience, go-to-market teams, customers, and product leadership to align business needs with technical solutions.
  • Partner with engineering and architecture teams to develop feasible, scalable, secure, and high-performing product roadmaps.
  • Monitor development progress and requirements to support consistent delivery speed, product quality, and successful releases.
  • Develop and present strategic business cases to product leaders, cross-functional stakeholders, and executives.
  • Coordinate product activation and launch readiness, including training, support, marketing, messaging, and sales enablement.
  • Own adoption dashboards for platform solutions by defining metrics, setting goals, monitoring progress, capturing customer feedback, and recommending actions to improve key performance indicators.
  • Develop detailed design specifications for software projects, applying a strong understanding of full-stack applications.
  • Provide informal mentorship to junior product team members and encourage continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in product management, product ownership, or business analysis within Agile environments, with a focus on delivering successful, data-driven products.
  • Demonstrated experience developing product roadmaps, making data-informed decisions, and improving customer value and product adoption.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality Software-as-a-Service products efficiently.
  • Experience with data analytics, data visualization, and reporting tools, including Looker or equivalent platforms.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive the implementation of valuable technology solutions through clearly defined specifications, from initial design through adoption.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, strategic thinking, and prioritization skills.
  • Familiarity with APIs, employee benefits, or benefits administration is an advantage.

  • Ability to successfully complete applicable pre-employment background checks and verification processes.
