The Programmatic Lead is a key contributor and leader within the Programmatic & Partnerships team, reporting directly to the Programmatic & Partnerships Manager. This role sets the standard for programmatic advertising at Easygo, defining best practices, driving operational excellence, and owning the end-to-end programmatic ecosystem across campaign execution, technology, inventory, and data.
You will work closely with regional specialists, CRM and data teams, and external adtech partners to build scalable, high-performing programmatic infrastructure that supports Easygo's growth ambitions.

- Own campaign architecture decisions — audience segmentation, deal prioritisation, frequency strategy, and bid management.
- Collaborate with Regional Specialists to translate growth strategies into programmatic execution plans, ensuring consistent standards across markets.
- Define and implement best-in-class campaign structures, trafficking standards, and naming conventions across all programmatic activity.
- Establish and govern optimisation frameworks — setting benchmarks, aligning KPIs, and driving continuous improvement across growth strategies.
- Assist in the maintenance of automated programmatic reporting to deliver regular performance insights to internal stakeholders and leadership.
- Oversee budget pacing, forecasting, and spend efficiency across all programmatic investment.
- Govern inventory quality standards — curate allowlists/blocklists, enforce brand safety standards, and manage contextual targeting frameworks.
- Build and manage Private Marketplace deals and SSP partnerships.
- Lead evaluation and onboarding of new supply partners in alignment with business needs.
- Own relationships with core adtech partners including DSPs, fraud protection providers, data providers, verification vendors (IAS, DoubleVerify), and measurement platforms.
- Lead negotiations, QBRs, and platform roadmap discussions with key vendors.
- Evaluate, pilot, and recommend new adtech solutions to maintain a best-in-class tech stack and operating structure.
- Partner with CRM and data teams to activate addressable first-party audiences across programmatic channels.
- Develop and govern audience segmentation strategy — prospecting, retargeting, suppression, and lookalike modelling.
- Lead Easygo's response to identity and privacy changes (cookie deprecation, first-party data strategy, identity solutions such as UID2, RampID, or Publisher Provided Identifiers).
- Identify and pilot emerging programmatic channels and formats — including CTV/OTT, Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH), audio, and retail media — assessing fit for Easygo's audience and compliance framework.
- Champion Dynamic Creative Optimisation (DCO) and collaborate with creative teams on format strategy to improve personalisation and performance.
- Track industry trends and platform developments; bring forward strategic recommendations proactively.
- Currently responsible for managing and mentoring a programmatic coordinator, with intent to grow the team
- Set clear objectives, providing regular feedback, and supporting career development.
- Act as the internal centre of excellence for programmatic knowledge — upskill stakeholders across the business through documentation, training, and thought leadership.
- Serve as the primary programmatic point of contact for internal teams including Media, Analytics, Product, and Finance.
- Partner with the Partnerships team to align programmatic investment with wider media and commercial partnerships.
- Contribute to media planning and budget allocation discussions, providing programmatic forecasts and scenario modelling.
- 5+ years of hands-on programmatic advertising experience, with at least 2 years in a lead, senior, or specialist role.
- Deep expertise in major DSPs (The Trade Desk preferred) and ad verification tools.
- Strong understanding of programmatic supply — SSPs, exchanges, deal types (PMP, PG, open auction), and inventory quality management.
- Proven experience activating first-party data and CRM audiences in programmatic environments.
- Solid grasp of digital measurement, attribution, and analytics; experience with tools such as GA4, Looker, Tableau or equivalent.
- Familiarity with the evolving identity landscape and privacy regulations (GDPR, applicable regional laws).
- Experience managing, coaching, or mentoring junior team members.
- Highly analytical with a test-and-learn mindset.
- Commercially minded — able to connect programmatic performance to business outcomes.
- Strong communicator; confident presenting to senior stakeholders and managing external vendor relationships.
- Detail-oriented and process-driven, while remaining adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with a passion for innovation in digital media.
