Final Assembler - 2nd Shift

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Final Assembler - 2nd Shift. The hourly rate for this position is $26.20-$27.78 depending on experience + $2.50 shift premium per hour. The hours for this shift are 3pm - 11pm, Monday-Friday. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. This position is offering a sign-on bonus of $2,000* paid in two installments, less applicable withholding. *Bonus terms: * Bonuses are being offered for a limited time only. The hourly rate starts at $26.20/hour, depending on experience + $2.50 shift premium. The core hours are 3pm – 11pm, Monday-Friday; Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. This position is based at our Lincoln Avenue facility in Waukesha, WI. This position offers a sign-on bonus of $2,000*, less applicable withholding. *Bonus terms: • Bonuses are only applicable to specific job types and shifts; additional terms and conditions may apply. • Associates must be employed at the time of the payout. • Bonuses will be payable in two installments: $1,000, less applicable withholding will be paid after three (3) months of employment and the remaining $1,000, less applicable withholding will be paid after nine (9) months of employment. • Moving to 1st shift will disqualify you from any remaining new hire bonus payments. Position overview: The final assembler is responsible for assembling all exterior equipment such as fuses and controls, control boxes, terminals, cubicles, compartments, arresters, etc. to substation and three-phase pad-mounted transformers. In this function you will: · Locates and assembles control box and conduit per drawings to tank exterior · Wires controls to accessories as required by drawings and bill of material and assembles control panels. This includes all wiring inside the cabinets of all 3ph pads, wiring all substations, and assembly of control boxes containing up to (5) accessories. (Accessories are defined as all terminal blocks combined being (1) accessory; all breakers combined being (1) accessory, etc.) · Train and secure all wiring to allow for required spacing between accessories whether in cabinet or control box for neat appearance and customer access · Locates mounts and assembles air loadbreak switches, cubicles, doors, throat covers, hoods, fans and barriers as specified · Locates and mounts switch plates, identification and/or instruction plates as specified · Locates and attaches connectors to bushing terminal as specified and attach or cate lightening arresters as required ## Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution is required. • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future. • No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred Qualifications: • Education in AC/DC fundamentals. Minimum of one (1) year of electrical experience ## Skills: Position Criteria: • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation. • Ability to work overtime when required. • Ability to interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
