Spain Payroll Specialist

As a Payroll Specialist at Ebury, you are the technical and operational heart of the employee experience. You ensure our global team of 1,700+ professionals across 29+ markets is paid accurately, compliantly, and on time.

• →End to end processing of bi-monthly and monthly payrolls as part of a small team.
• →Analysis and documentation of each countries control framework and payroll processing guidance.
• →Ad hoc project support. Manage relationships with various stakeholders (i.e., Finance, HR, etc.) and the payroll provider to ensure end-to-end process excellence.
• →Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies
• →Performing reconciliations and audit tasks for monthly payrolls. 
• →Stay up to date with local payroll regulations.
• →Support Finance teams with month-end close and reporting activities. 
• →Regularly review payroll processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and reliability.
• →Attend to all escalated and critical payroll related issues on a timely basis. 

• Ability to take ownership of payroll processes;
• Problem solving mindset & positive attitude; 
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup and other formulas)
