Junior Data Engineer - Intern

Everforth ECS is seeking a Junior Data Engineering Intern to work in our Fairfax, VA office for the summer of 2027.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to move beyond the classroom and gain firsthand experience with production-grade workflows and real-world datasets. You will work alongside senior engineers and scientists to acquire hands-on experience in data infrastructure and engineering practices in support of a DoW Artificial Intelligence initiative. • →Extract, transform and standardize data to prepare for ingest into Machine Learning (ML) development environments
• →Assist with the design and development of data services
• →Document data processes and workflows
• →Complete data analyses, catering results to leadership in a holistic and easy-to-understand way
• →Help ensure data quality and accuracy to support reliable analytics and insights
• →Perform multiple tasks simultaneously and successfully under changing priorities and deadlines
• →Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions
