Job Summary
The SAP FICO Consultant is responsible for analyzing, designing, configuring, and supporting the SAP Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), and Material Management (MM) modules to meet the specific requirements of the Al Ghurair Group. The role involves working closely with internal teams, including ERP Functional Managers, Technical Consultants, Basis Consultants, and Business Users, as well as with external IT vendors. The consultant will deliver, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve SAP functionality while providing guidance on ERP-related issues and supporting future enhancements.
Must Have Skillsets (Mandatory)
- SAP Implementation and Configuration: Deep hands-on experience in implementing and configuring SAP ECC, particularly within FICO and MM modules.
- Functional Expertise: Strong understanding of GL, AA, VAT, and CT concepts, along with comprehensive knowledge of SAP FICO and MM process flows.
- Requirements Analysis and Documentation: Ability to work with clients to define and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Testing: Experience in preparing and conducting Unit Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with ERP Functional Managers, Technical and Basis Consultants, and Business Users.
- SAP SuccessFactors Integration: Knowledge of payroll integration with SAP SuccessFactors.
Good to Have Skillsets (Optional)
- ERP Applications and Associated Technologies: Exposure to various ERP applications and associated technologies.
- System Integration: Awareness of systems integration principles, quality assurance tools, and UAT methodologies.
- Architectural Principles: Understanding of software and computer systems architectural principles for integrating enterprise applications.
- Technology Trends: Knowledge of market trends and evolving technology relevant to SAP and ERP applications.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (BCOM, MCOM), with an MBA in Finance or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5–6 years of experience in SAP FICO and MM modules within ECC or S4HANA environments.
- Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining current knowledge of technology trends and applying them to business needs.
