Senior Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join our team full-time in London. Our consulting business focusses on both the delivery of projects to meet clients’ needs, and the development of repeatable propositions to take to market. We are growing quickly as a business and are looking for an individual with 2-4 years of professional experience, ideally in a consulting or healthcare analytics background who can integrate quickly into our team and support the growth of our consulting business.

Key skills and competencies we are looking for include:

The role is a mix of hands-on analysis and project delivery. As a Senior Analyst you run projects day to day and help oversee analysts and engineers, supported by a project manager and led by a Director. You'll still spend much of your time in the detail: coding in SQL, R or Python, building models, and working out what the results mean for the client. 

The work is varied and often starts with a question rather than a prescribed method. We might be helping an NHS team understand pressures on a service, evaluating the economics of a new intervention, or building a tool that lets a client answer the question themselves. Because consulting, economics, data science and engineering sit closely together, people can move between these kinds of problems. 

We are also small enough for people to shape what Edge does. Senior Analysts contribute to bids and scoping, help develop new propositions, and support the development of the wider team. We set aside two training days each quarter, and recent internal development time has produced new public tools as well as client propositions.
