PROTÉGÉ Graduate Trainee, Civil Engineering (Bangsar South)

UEM Edgenta Berhad is dedicated to nurturing young talents through our Graduate Trainee Program (GeT). This program is designed to empower graduates with essential skills and hands-on experience to excel in the working landscape. Our comprehensive 9-12 month initiative combines career development training with practical on-the-job training, providing essential skills and genuine workplace exposure to establish a robust groundwork for a progressive career ahead. 

• Assisting in the planning and design in accordance with relevant design standards, project specifications, and authority requirements.
• Supporting preliminary design activities, including site assessments, engineering analysis, design option evaluations, and cost estimations.
• Assisting in detailed design development, including engineering calculations, quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BQ), technical drawings, and design reports.
• Collaborating with senior engineers to understand client requirements and develop practical engineering solutions.
• Ensuring assigned tasks are completed accurately and within project timelines.
• Participating in technical discussions, site visits, and project coordination meetings where required.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the Head of Department or Line Manager.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to one (1) year of relevant working experience are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of highway, pavement, transportation, or infrastructure engineering principles.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Knowledge of engineering software such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
