Position: EPABX Technical Engineer (Electronic Private Automatic Branch Exchange) Location: Sector 67,Gurgaon,Haryana Industry: Automation Salary: 20000 - 25000 Timings: -9.30 am-6.30pm(Mon -sat) An EPABX (Electronic Private Automatic Branch Exchange) technical person installs, programs, maintains, and repairs office intercom and telephone switching systems. They configure extensions, troubleshoot line faults, and support IP PBX or analog hardware to ensure smooth internal and external business communication. Key Responsibilities Installation & Setup: Mount, wire, and power up EPABX hardware, trunk lines, and intercom connections at client sites. Programming & Configuration: Set up user extensions, Interactive Voice Response (IVR), call forwarding, routing rules, and voicemails. Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose signal losses, hardware glitches, and damaged telephone cables using testing tools. Preventive Maintenance: Inspect systems regularly to clean, update firmware, and prevent unexpected network or switchboard failures. Client Support: Train end-users on system features and resolve day-to-day ticketing issues. Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications Education: ITI certification, Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or Communication Engineering (ECE/EEE). Technical Knowledge: Understanding of analog, digital, and IP-based PBX architectures. Networking Basics: Familiarity with LAN, SIP trunks, routers, and basic IP configuration. Brand Familiarity: Experience working with major enterprise systems like Panasonic, Matrix, NEC, or Crystal. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and clear communication for customer interactions.
