Your Role: Senior Director, Site Integration & Transformation Execution

As Senior Director, Site Integration & Transformation Execution, you will be a key member of the Fort Dodge Plant Leadership Team, connecting Elanco’s Global Manufacturing strategy with site-level execution. In this role, you will lead long-range site planning, integrated business planning, transformation governance, and value realization to strengthen site performance, financial sustainability, and long-term competitiveness.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Own and orchestrate the 3–5-year Site Master Plan, Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and Long-Range Planning (LRP), ensuring alignment with volume growth, new product introductions, and corporate financial objectives.
  • Lead governance and prioritization of the site transformation portfolio, partnering with Finance to drive measurable P&L impact through COGS reduction, yield improvement, labor productivity, and other operational improvements.
  • Oversee strategic alignment of CAPEX investments, ensuring investments deliver expected ROI and support long-term site capability, maturity, and compliance.
  • Champion Operational Excellence through Lean, Six Sigma, and PDCA principles while driving a culture of agility, data-driven decision-making, and sustainable continuous improvement.
  • Partner across the M&Q Network and global functions to integrate enterprise initiatives, mitigate execution and financial risks, share best practices, and build organizational capability.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations, or a related scientific field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, engineering, or business operations, ideally within a global, matrixed organization.
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum of 5 years of people leadership experience, including direct experience managing and developing leaders.
  • Manufacturing Environment: Significant experience working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, with demonstrated knowledge of GMP requirements and regulated manufacturing operations.
  • Skills: Strong financial and strategic acumen, including the ability to develop multi-year roadmaps, prioritize initiatives based on ROI and P&L impact, and influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (preferred qualifications):

  • Experience in vaccine or biologics manufacturing.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
  • Deep knowledge of Operational Excellence frameworks, including Lean, Six Sigma, and PDCA, with demonstrated success driving cultural transformation.
  • Experience developing and executing site master plans, IBP/LRP strategies, and complex transformation portfolios.
  • Demonstrated success leading strategic CAPEX planning and delivering measurable financial value from operational initiatives.
