- Experience: Bachelor’s (B.S.) degree with 3+ years of experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment, preferably within the animal health/feed science or pharmaceutical industry; or a Master’s (M.S.) degree with no prior experience.
- Technical Writing: Demonstrated ability to develop scientific protocols, technical reports, and regulatory documentation.
- Data Skills: Proficiency in data analysis software and the ability to represent complex data sets graphically.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with feed manufacturing equipment (mixers, pellet mills) and analytical techniques (HPLC/Chromatography) is highly desirable.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across research, manufacturing, and quality teams.

Elanco is seeking a highly organized and technically proficient Study Coordinator to support our Feed Manufacturing and Mixing studies. This hybrid role combines scientific writing, data analysis, project coordination, and hands-on R&D feed manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing regulatory-compliant study documentation, interpreting analytical results, coordinating study execution, and operating feed manufacturing equipment to produce experimental diets that support research and product development.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Develop and author comprehensive study protocols for feed manufacturing and mixer evaluation studies, ensuring consistency, scientific integrity, and regulatory compliance.
- →Prepare technical reports that accurately document study results, conclusions, and recommendations.
- →Analyze complex analytical data sets, identify trends, and develop clear graphical representations to communicate findings and support project decision-making.
- →Coordinate study logistics, timelines, materials, and communication for mixer evaluations conducted across multiple manufacturing sites.
- →Operate industrial/R&D feed manufacturing equipment, including mixers and milling systems, to produce experimental feed samples according to study specifications.
- →Execute mixer evaluation studies by loading, mixing, sampling, and unloading feed ingredients, supplements, and finished feed to assess mixing performance, ingredient distribution, and product uniformity.
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure studies are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with established quality standards.
- →Maintain accurate study documentation and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, quality, and safety requirements.
