Senior Consultant - Capital & Private Markets Practice
Quick Summary
Electric Mind’s Capital Markets Practice helps clients reimagine their operating models, data architectures, and control environments across the trade lifecycle. We partner with leading institutions to modernize their front-to-back value chain, drive operational efficiency, and enable regulatory and market-driven transformation.
The Senior Consultant is a leadership-track delivery professional within Electric Mind's Capital & Private Markets practice. You will lead transformation workstreams independently, design target-state operating models and business architectures, and serve as the primary client-facing expert on your engagement. You bring deep capital and/or private markets domain expertise - at this level, domain knowledge is not developed on the job, it is the foundation from which you advise clients. You will mentor junior team members, contribute to business development, and operate as a visible, credible voice of Electric Mind in client organizations.

- Facilitate complex, multi-disciplinary workshops (design thinking, future state definition, vendor selection) with 20+ participants across client functions
- Present findings and recommendations at senior client forums, steering committees, and board-level briefings when required
- Contribute substantively to proposal development: scoping, solution design, pricing assumptions, and writing of proposal sections
- Identify and qualify organic growth opportunities within existing client accounts; introduce additional Electric Mind capabilities where appropriate
- Represent Electric Mind externally at industry events, roundtables, and client networking forums to build the practice's market profile
- Mentor and quality-review the work of Consultants and Associates on the engagement team
- Set the quality standard for workstream deliverables and hold junior team members accountable to it
- Contribute to Electric Mind's methodology and intellectual capital through playbooks, reusable frameworks, and published thought leadership
- Client stakeholders request you by name for subsequent engagements
- Operates comfortably without day-to-day oversight from a Director; escalates judiciously
- Produces TOM and business architecture outputs that become the definitive design reference for client transformation programs
Candidates should possess strong domain expertise in capital markets and/or private markets gained through direct industry experience, consulting engagements, or transformation programs. At the Senior Consultant level, individuals are expected to move beyond understanding concepts and demonstrate the ability to apply industry knowledge to client challenges, evaluate solution options, and provide informed recommendations.
