We are looking for a Technology Functionality Team Leader to join our R&D team in Rayong, Thailand.

You will be responsible for the design and development of product, module, and sub-module functionalities across multiple technical areas, supporting innovation and ensuring product performance, quality, and competitiveness.

In particular, you will be accountable for the development of Washing Machines, Washer-Dryers, Tumble Dryers, and Dishwashers within the following technology functionality areas:

• →Noise
• →Mechanics & Vibration
• →Thermodynamics & Fluid Dynamics (air)
• →Chemical and Soiling

• Responsible for driving development of functionality for key appliance technologies and ensuring product performance meets specifications, cost and quality targets.
• Responsible for management of a laboratory team of engineers and technicians
• Define and validate test plans aligned with performance targets
• Ensure adoption of best practices in testing methodologies and efficiency
• Support project budget definition and tracking
• Collaborate with functional platforms to meet Generation Plans and Quality/Cost targets
• Strong connection point as part of Technology Functionality team in Porcia, ensuring alignment in capabilities, testing procedures, testing efficiency

• Master’s degree in Thermodynamic, Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in R&D environment preferably from home appliances industry
• Consolidated knowledge in several technologies area   
• Comfortable in working under pressure in a complex environment
• Agile and flexible in critical situation management with hard science base approach
• Strong ability in analytical thinking and proactive behaviour being attractive by multicultural and agile environment
• Consolidated experience in laboratory testing design and application of statistical approach on testing methodologies
• Fluent English, with very good written and verbal communication skills

You will be based in our Rayong plant and report to a Manager.
