Electrical Controls Designer

Salary: $38.00-$42.00 per hour
Shift: Full-time, 40-50 hours per week
Location: Windsor, Ontario
 

• Perform electrical and pneumatic design for machinery using AutoCAD Electrical
• Design and implement safety circuits and select appropriate components
• Create and maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials) and release to purchasing
• Attend project meetings and collaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers, and technicians
• Support troubleshooting, commissioning, and documentation of control systems
• Mentor junior designers and share technical knowledge within the team

• 3–7 years experience as a Controls Designer (Electrical & Pneumatic)
• 5 years experience using AutoCAD 
• 3 years experience performing electrical and pneumatic machine design
• 3 years experience in safety circuit design
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
