Position Summary

e.l.f. Cosmetics is seeking a Summer Intern, Influencer & Content Creation to support creator relationship operations, campaign planning, and event activation across our influencer ecosystem. In this role, you’ll help manage day-to-day creator programs, build and maintain campaign lists, and support high-profile events and cultural moments. This internship offers hands-on experience in influencer marketing and creator operations within a fast-paced, culturally driven environment.

Creator Relationship Operations (40%)

Execute a weekly personalized creator mailer program (50–75 creators per week), including product selection, handwritten note coordination, and shipment tracking

Maintain creator database hygiene in CreatorIQ, ensuring accurate contact details, content preferences, and relationship history

Support PR box campaign logistics, including creator vetting and fulfillment coordination with agency partners

Campaign List Management (35%)

Build custom, vetted creator lists for each product launch and brand activation (supporting approximately 8–12 campaigns over the summer)

Cross-reference creator lists against brand safety protocols and organic content history using Viral Nation Secure

Maintain campaign tracking documentation to monitor creator participation, content performance, and relationship momentum

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align creator strategy with product marketing calendars

Event Support & Amplification (20%)

Provide on-site support for creator events and activations, including tentpole cultural moments and studio sessions

Coordinate pre-event creator communications, logistics, and gift suite preparation

Support post-event content tracking and relationship follow-up to extend cultural impact

Document event learnings and creator feedback to inform future activation strategy

Team Development & Learning (5%)

Participate in weekly team meetings and contribute insights from daily observation of the creator community

Shadow senior team members on creator calls and agency collaboration sessions

Complete a summer Capstone Project focused on creator ecosystem insights or operational innovation

Engage in Employee Experience programming and the cross-department e.l.f.tern community

Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

Must be a rising junior or senior at the time of the internship

Must be available for the full internship period: June 17th - August 21st

Proficient in deck creation (PowerPoint or Google Slides) and list management tools (Excel, Google Sheets, or Airtable)

Demonstrated interest in the creator economy through personal content creation, creator community engagement, or relevant coursework

Comfortable interacting with influencers and VIP talent in professional settings

Available for in-office work in Los Angeles at least three days per week, with flexibility based on team needs and event dates

Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and personalization

Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Enthusiasm for the beauty industry and cultural fluency across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube

Personal experience as a micro or nano creator on any platform

Previous internship or work experience in influencer marketing, talent management, PR, or social media

Familiarity with creator management platforms (e.g., CreatorIQ, AspireIQ, Tribe)

Understanding of the beauty industry competitive landscape and creator dynamics

Event logistics or experiential marketing experience

Passion for e.l.f. Beauty values, including accessibility, inclusivity, and cultural disruption

This is not a passive internship. You’ll have real ownership over programs that directly impact creator relationships and cultural presence. You’ll work alongside a team that prioritizes authentic connection over transactions, and you’ll leave with portfolio-ready work, meaningful industry relationships, and a deep understanding of how creator marketing operates at scale.

This e.l.f.tern will serve as the operational backbone of our creator relationship infrastructure during our highest-volume quarter, owning three critical initiatives:

Weekly Creator Care Program - Managing 50–75 personalized creator mailers each week, transforming routine gifting into meaningful relationship-building moments

Campaign List Architecture - Building and maintaining precision creator lists for each product launch and cultural activation (8-12 major campaigns), ensuring the right creators are activated at the right moments

Event Amplification Support - Providing on-site and post-event support for signature cultural moments, translating IRL experiences into digital creator content that extends cultural impact
