We are looking for a highly motivated and hospitality-driven Contract Swim Instructor I Garden City to join our team.

• →Conduct swim lessons for children ages 3 and above.
• →Structure an hour-long class, which may be adaptable for two groups: 3-5 years and 6 years and above, with each group having a half-hour session.
• →Develop and implement age-appropriate swimming lessons, focusing on water safety and skill development for young learners.
• →Maintain a safe and controlled environment during swim sessions, emphasizing water safety protocols.
• →Evaluate and track individual progress, providing constructive feedback to both children and their guardians regarding skill improvements.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• →High school diploma or GED.
• →A minimum of 1 year experience directly relevant to the job responsibilities outlined.
• →Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
• →Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution above the minimum education requirement may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
• →Proficiency in applying first aid procedures.
• →Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to collaborate effectively within a diverse community.
• →Strong records maintenance skills with the ability to complete routine administrative tasks efficiently.
• →Familiarity with swim training and educational methods.
• →Capability to comprehend, follow, and enforce safety procedures.

WHAT WE OFFER

• →$30 to $40 per half hour
