Accounts Payable & Receivable Accountant

We are supporting an innovative international organisation operating within the advanced materials and sustainable energy sector.

As part of continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Accountant to join their finance team, supporting day-to-day accounting operations while contributing to the financial management of a fast-growing scientific and manufacturing environment.

• →Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices accurately and efficiently
• →Monitor outstanding payments and proactively follow up on customer accounts
• →Assist with month-end closing activities
• →Prepare financial statements and accounting documentation
• →Support VAT compliance and statutory reporting
• →Prepare financial reports for management
• →Maintain accurate financial records within the ERP system
• →Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient financial processes
• →Support continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function

• 3-4 years of accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline
• Experience in processing both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems
• Professional-level English communication skills
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Ghislenghien, Belgium
• EU citizenship or unrestricted right to work within the EU

• Experience within manufacturing, chemicals, scientific or industrial environments
• Knowledge of VAT compliance
• Experience supporting the month-end financial close
• Strong organisational and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a wider finance team
