Facility Technician

Responsibilities and duties:

Make sure that all the machines in the plant are operational and are in good working condition.

Carry out maintenance of the machine as per the instruction from the Production Manager

And Maintenance Engineer.

Assign jobs to all workers as per the instruction received from the management.

Supervise the workers and make sure that the job is carried out as per the requirement.

Ensure that the machine hall and surrounding areas are clean and tidy.

Constantly try to improve the workmanship and to reduce the down time of the machine.

Take charge in the profiling, saw unit, stacking, and wrapping unit in the absence of the machine

operators.

Attend and solve the mechanical faults in the machine as per the instruction from the Production

Manager and Maintenance Engineer

Ensure that HSE policies and procedures are being followed and implemented.

Maintain company's interest and objectives when dealing with Clients and third parties.

Perform other tasks assigned by the Direct Line Manager

Qualifications:

Diploma in Mechanical-related discipline or equivalent experience

Years of Experience:

Minimum of 6 to 8 years working experience in the same or similar technical role

Person Requirements:

Work experience preferably from the Manufacturing Industry

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions,

and procedure manual

Preferably with pneumatic and hydraulic process and hardware knowledge

Basic communication skills
