Millwright

Our client is seeking an experienced Millwright to join the Krugersdorp, Gauteng team, · Install, align, dismantle, and move machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings. · Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. · Troubleshoot mechanical issues and repair or replace defective parts as needed. · Operate hand and power tools, welding equipment, and other machinery safely and effectively. · Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times. · Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other team members to complete projects on schedule and within budget. · Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each task. · Supervise contractors’ workers on site. · Maintain inventory of parts worked on during an installation. · Complete inspections and replace defective equipment. · Perform standby duties when needed, Requirements · Grade 12 · Trade Tested Millwright · Minimum 2 years’ post trade experience gained in the automotive industry · Plastics / polymer / extrusion industry experience will be an advantage · Experience working in manufacturing, construction, or other industrial settings. · Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. · Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals. · Experience with troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and equipment · Proficiency in operating hand and power tools, welding equipment, and other machinery · Valid drivers license and own transportation, · Candidate must reside in or near Krugersdorp to perform standby duties and attend to call-outs,
