Overview
The Sales Enablement Director is responsible for driving sales effectiveness and efficiency by optimizing the utilization of key enablement tools and data insights. The Sales Enablement Director focuses on leveraging tools like Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, GongEngage, Pendo and others to develop comprehensive coaching and enablement programs. They will also oversee the onboarding process, ensuring that new hires are equipped with the necessary tools and training to succeed in their roles.
Responsibilities
- Enablement tool management:
- Managing and administering key enablement tools such as Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, etc.
- Ensuring all Sales team members are set up on necessary tools as part of the onboarding process.
- Staying updated on new features and functionalities of enablement tools and providing training and support to the Sales team.
- Data utilization and analysis:
- Utilizing data from enablement tools to analyze sales interactions, calls, and meetings.
- Identifying trends, patterns, and areas for improvement based on data insights.
- Translating data insights into actionable strategies to enhance performance.
- Coaching and development:
- Designing and implementing tailored coaching programs for sales representatives and managers.
- Providing specific, data-driven feedback to individuals based on performance metrics.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive enablement programs.
- Performance analytics:
- Monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of coaching and enablement programs.
- Tracking key performance metrics and success indicators to evaluate program success.
- Continuously refining coaching strategies based on data analysis and feedback.
- Content and resource development:
- Collaborating with Marketing, Product Marketing, and Product teams to develop sales content, tools, and resources.
- Ensuring Commercial teams have access to up-to-date, relevant, and data-backed resources.
- Onboarding and training:
- Developing and overseeing onboarding programs for new commercial hires, including training on enablement tools.
- Conducting ongoing training sessions to keep the Commercial team updated on best practices and industry trends.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in revenue/sales enablement, preferably within a technology or software as a service (SaaS) environment.
- Proficiency in utilizing enablement tools such as Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, etc.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A proactive and dynamic approach to driving sales performance improvement through data-driven strategies.
- Demonstrated proficiency in project management, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and drive initiatives forward.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization.
- High levels of professionalism, interpersonal skills and personal drive.
- Team player. Ability to work on a team in a collaborative environment, sharing information and best practices.
