Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op

The Role:
Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.

  Evaluate manufacturing set up times and inefficiencies.

  Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.

• →

  Implement changes to mitigate production capacity issues and reduce set-up times.

• →

  Work to improve manufacturing processes and drive change.

• →

  Evaluate process times and work to understand production and implement solutions to drive change.

• Self-driven, creative and motivated individual that can work independently or in a team environment.

• The ability to deliver results in a timely manner that meet the organization standards.

• Collaborate with others to foster effective teamwork by linking own responsibilities to the team’s goals and needs - zeal for new information, knowledge, and experiences

• Establish courses of action for self and others to ensure work is completed efficiently; ability to prioritize tasks based on importance

• Demonstrated leadership preferred: campus organizations, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership on work projects.

• Must be present on site and comfortable in a manufacturing environment.

• Must be a currently enrolled student

• Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June

• Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program

Compensation: $20-$30/hour range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
