Your Role in Our Mission

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant/Associate – Night Shift to support our research and laboratory operations during overnight hours. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on laboratory work, problem-solving, and ensuring seamless continuity of research activities between shifts. The successful candidate will play a critical role in monitoring experiments, maintaining laboratory readiness, and ensuring safety and operational excellence throughout the night.

Monitor overnight reactions, experiments, and laboratory equipment to ensure safe and uninterrupted operations.

Perform safety checks, respond to alarms or incidents, and escalate issues when required.

Monitor temperature-sensitive storage units and manage backup storage transfers when necessary.

Maintain chemical and glassware inventories and identify items requiring replenishment.

Prepare laboratory consumables, including TLC plates and staining reagents, for day-shift activities.

Document overnight activities and provide clear handover notes to the incoming team.

Collaborate with day-shift researchers to support project objectives and laboratory readiness.

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry or a related field with 0–2 years of relevant experience.

Hands-on knowledge of laboratory operations and standard organic synthesis techniques.

Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and make sound decisions during night shifts.

Strong understanding of laboratory safety practices and emergency procedures.

Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills
