Engage and inspire members by delivering exceptional Pilates Reformer classes that are safe, effective, and welcoming for participants of all fitness levels. Create a boutique studio experience that builds community, encourages consistency, and helps members achieve measurable results while feeling successful in every class.
The Pilates Reformer Instructor is responsible for leading dynamic, results-driven Reformer classes while providing expert coaching, individualized attention, and exceptional member service. Successful instructors create an engaging studio environment, foster meaningful member relationships, and deliver programming that improves strength, mobility, posture, balance, and overall well-being.
The ideal candidate is passionate about Pilates, knowledgeable in movement mechanics, and committed to delivering an outstanding member experience that keeps participants coming back.
Responsibilities
~1 min read· Lead safe, engaging, and effective Pilates Reformer classes for all experience levels.
· Demonstrate and coach proper technique, alignment, breathing, and movement mechanics.
· Provide exercise modifications and progressions to accommodate varying fitness levels, injuries, and limitations.
· Create an energetic, supportive, and inclusive studio atmosphere.
· Build relationships with members by learning names, encouraging progress, and fostering a sense of community.
· Arrive prepared and begin and end classes on time.
· Monitor participant safety and maintain awareness throughout every class.
· Educate members on Pilates principles and the benefits of consistent practice.
· Promote Pilates programming, special events, and other EōS Fitness services.
· Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the Pilates studio and reformer equipment.
· Perform basic equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
· Accurately report incidents or injuries according to company procedures.
· Maintain all required certifications and participate in continuing education to stay current with industry best practices.

Requirements

· Demonstrates excellent verbal cueing and coaching skills.
· Possesses strong knowledge of Pilates principles, anatomy, biomechanics, and movement quality.
· Can confidently modify and progress exercises for diverse fitness levels.
· Builds rapport quickly and develops lasting relationships with members.
· Communicates professionally with members and teammates using a hospitality-first mindset.
· Is dependable, organized, energetic, and self-motivated.
· Works collaboratively as part of the fitness team.
· Maintains a polished, professional appearance and positive attitude.
· Commits to ongoing education and professional growth.
· Pilates experience/background preferred.
· Experience teaching both group and private or semi-private sessions is a plus.
· Experience working in boutique Pilates studios or high-volume fitness facilities is preferred.
Nice to Have
~1 min read· Current comprehensive Pilates Reformer Certification preferred (minimum 450-hour program preferred from a nationally recognized Pilates education provider).
· OR Reformer Certification from a nationally recognized Pilates education provider meeting EōS Fitness standards.
· Current CPR/AED Certification.
· Nationally recognized Group Fitness certification if not Pilates certified.
