Services Clerk - Diagnostic Imaging Support - Full Time - 1st Shift

The Diagnostic Clerk I performs a wide range of clerical duties including typing record keeping, and filing. Exhibits the values of F.I.R.S.T. (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust).
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Performs a variety of clerical functions to access, obtain and maintain images and reports as required. Demonstrates and records proper scheduling techniques for special examinations.
- →Screens and refers all incoming calls and department visitors to ensure that accurate and timely departmental communication is facilitated and the department is presented in a positive manner.
- →Demonstrates complete working knowledge of medical records to ensure efficient utilization of time and appropriate release of records.
- →Executes all computer functions.
- →Prepares the patient record completely and accurately for the exam and reading.
- →Contributes to the efficient operation of the department to ensure accurate use of resources.
- →Demonstrates a commitment to professional accountability and growth to maintain and expand knowledge and skills.
- →Contributes to the achievement of the mission and philosophy of the Organization.
- →Contributes to the effective operation of the Organization by demonstrating dependability in job performance.

Works in typical office setting. May require working evening or weekend schedule. Ability to work in a stationary position. The task of this job does not involve exposure to blood, body fluid or tissue. Must be able to move or position 25 lbs independently.
Physicians, patients, visitors and other Associates. Must be able to communicate orally effectively. Should be pleasant, conscientious, tactful and responsible.
Computer and software, copy machine and fax machine. Familiar with Medical Terminology. CD Burner, and Talk Technology.
High School Graduate.
