What We Offer
~1 min readThe individual will work under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Hedge Accounting & Financial Operations but will also work closely with more senior members of the Finance team as needed. The candidate will be granted a high degree of autonomy to solve complex problems and create efficiencies and bring new ideas to the table.
There are several challenges inherent in this position including juggling competing priorities from different stakeholders, thus excellent organizational skills are required to meet multiple deadlines. The individual will need to possess excellent communication skills to partner with members of Finance, Capital Markets, Treasury and other external stakeholders to resolve issues. To be successful, the candidate must have a keen interest in financial instruments and be able to work autonomously to develop creative solutions to ambiguous problems.
- The incumbent will work in a standard office environment.
- Currently a hybrid working model is in place with two days work from office. The number of days may change in future.
- Timely resolution is required for settlement matters and therefore time management is key
- There may be a requirement for overtime during periods of peak workload, such as quarter-ends.
- There is frequently a need to re-prioritize activities and be innovative in approach and thinking.
- Stress can be encountered in dealing with stakeholders with different perspectives and priorities.
- Hybrid work is expected with 1-5 days in person depending on the level and seniority of the role.
