Within the People team, you will report to and work closely with Amélie - our Senior Payroll Manager - to ensure smooth and compliant payroll operations across 700 employees over 13 countries (France, UK, Spain, Italy, Germany, Poland, USA, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Singapore, Dubai & Japan)

As a Payroll Specialist, you will prepare and coordinate payroll processes, ensuring smooth execution under the supervision and validation of the Payroll Manager. 

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Payroll data preparation: Gather, verify, and consolidate payroll inputs (new hires, terminations, bonuses, salary adjustments, etc.).

  • Collaboration with payroll providers: Ensure timely submission of payroll data and assist in processing payroll across multiple countries.

  • Preliminary payroll checks: Conduct initial reviews of payroll calculations before submission to the Payroll Manager for final validation.

  • Compliance & accuracy: Ensure payroll processes align with local labor laws and company policies, escalating complex cases to the Payroll Manager.

  • Employee support: Act as a first point of contact for payroll-related questions, providing clear explanations to employees.

  • Process improvement: Support initiatives to enhance payroll efficiency and contribute to automation projects.

  • You have a Degree in Human Resources and Payroll

  • You have significant experience in payroll processing, preferably in a multi-country environment.

  • Knowledge of payroll regulations in at least one of the covered countries.

  • You are familiar with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and experience with different payroll systems.

  • Fluent in English, another language is a plus (French, German, or others).

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.

  • Comfortable working independently while ensuring alignment with the Payroll Manager for final validation.

  • You have always shown a passion for CARE and want to work at the heart of a People function
