## Join our Team About This Opportunity We are seeking a skilled Core Optimization Specialist to join our team, responsible for the design, optimization, and auditing of networks to meet customer requirements. This role focuses on executing design, audit, and optimization services, where you will contribute to part of the solution and service process. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and timely delivery of services according to Ericsson's standards and customer contracts. What You Will Do • Be accountable for the day-to-day delivery of the assigned project towards the Market Area (MA). • Take responsibility for Nomination & Planning Activities and work closely with market area teams to execute delivery plans in a timely manner. • Analyse EPC/5GC CORE and IMS Core network performance, investigating root causes of performance degradation and providing recommendations to customers for resolution. • Conduct on-demand analysis of specific issues such as performance degradation, customer complaints, or new issues. • Create and develop new KPIs, counters, and dashboards to complement solutions and address customer challenges. • Assist customers in enriching solutions by suggesting enhancements for tools, KPIs, and dashboards, particularly in a Big Data and virtualized environment. • Conduct workshops to transfer telecom knowledge and provide insights on new features and solutions to the customer’s team. • Provide technical support and advice to customers and internal teams to optimize network performance. • Present findings and recommendations from analysis to the customer. You Will Bring • Strong knowledge of Packet Core architecture, especially 5GC and EPC. • Solid understanding of LTE, VoLTE, VoWiFi, Roaming, and handover signaling in Packet Core networks. • Experience with performance management counters and events, and the ability to analyze performance issues. • Hands-on expertise in defining KPIs, establishing thresholds, and ensuring compliance with SLAs. • Proficient in analyzing, correlating, and troubleshooting network performance issues. • Experience with network performance monitoring tools such as ITK, ENIQ, ENM, S-KPI, and Cisco Prime. • Strong communication skills with the ability to handle customer queries and deliver results. • Knowledge of 5G SA or NSA is a plus. • Familiarity with trace analysis and multi-technology performance optimization. Key Qualifications • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electronics, or related discipline. • Experience: Minimum 6-8 years of experience in network optimization and planning for 4G (EPC) Packet Core networks, with 5G Core experience being a plus. • In-depth knowledge of EPC, 5GC, and IMS Core network architectures. • Experience in KPI analysis, network performance tools, and establishing custom dashboards tailored to customer needs. • Familiarity with E2E network architecture and ability to evaluate the impact of KPI deviations.
