About this opportunity
Ericsson is a global leader in telecommunications, dedicated to delivering innovative in-building Radio Access Network (RAN) solutions that enhance wireless connectivity. We are looking for an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead in-building RAN projects across the USA, with a focus on deploying Ericsson's Distributed Antenna System (DOT). In this role, you will oversee the full project lifecycle — from planning through successful delivery — collaborating across technical, operational, and stakeholder teams in a variety of facility environments including offices, airports, stadiums, hospitals, and more.
What you will do
* Lead and manage in-building RAN construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
* Develop comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOMs), identifying suitable materials such as conduits, grounding hardware, connectors, and fire-rated penetrations
* Partner with RF design teams to contribute insights during the design phase and help identify optimal solutions.
* Provide direction and support to construction teams — including project managers, site supervisors, and service providers
* Oversee deployment of in-building RAN systems including Ericsson DOT, small cells, Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), and Bi-Directional Amplifiers (BDAs), applying troubleshooting expertise as needed
* Develop and enforce quality assurance processes for construction and installation activities
* Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
* Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve issues
* Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols
* Deliver regular project status updates, reports, and performance metrics to senior leadership
The skills you bring
* 8 or more years of experience in construction management with a focus on in-building RAN systems; hands-on experience with Ericsson DOT deployment is preferred
* Demonstrated success leading construction teams and managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects
* Strong knowledge of in-building RAN technologies including Ericsson DOT, small cells, DAS, and BDAs
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across internal teams, vendors, and customers
* Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex situations and make sound decisions under pressure
* Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
* Preferred certifications: OSHA 30, RF Awareness, CPR/First Aid
