Responsibilities

→Induce, monitor, and recover patients under general anesthesia for surgical procedures
→Provide direct surgical suite support — patient prep, draping, and post-op recovery
→Perform venipuncture, IV and urinary catheter placement, and fluid therapy
→Administer controlled and non-controlled medications via PO, SQ, IM, and IV routes
→Assist with advanced imaging including CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and X-ray
→Educate pet owners on post-operative and at-home care instructions.
→Collaborate across specialty departments, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, cardiology, and more
→Maintain accurate patient records and participate in ongoing training and skill development

Active Washington LVT license (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
Minimum 2 years of experience as a licensed veterinary technician
Specialty or surgical veterinary experience preferred, but not required
VTS in Anesthesia (or currently pursuing) strongly encouraged to apply
Strong technical skills: anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, catheter placement, medication administration Calm, adaptable, and collaborative in a fast-paced surgical environment

Schedule:

3 × 12-hour shifts or 4 × 10-hour shifts.
On-call shifts required.

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
