Senior Financial Analyst (Everbridge, Inc.; Vienna, VA): The Senior Financial Analyst is a key contributor to the company’s strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting processes by working directly with business leaders across the company to provide financial insight into their operations. Specific responsibilities include: Analyzing monthly financial and operational results, understanding the key variance drivers and providing actionable insights to senior management; Leading analytical projects from inception to conclusion with minimal guidance that will inform the company’s strategic plan and drive decision making; Assisting in the preparation of the annual budget and rolling forecast activities; Working independently across disciplines to understand key business drivers and update assumptions; Preparing regular reporting packages to senior management and the Board of Directors; Assisting in SEC reporting including quarterly MD&A preparation; and Developing a strong understanding of the global business and markets in which Everbridge participates. Telecommuting permitted. 10% regional and national travel.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Analytics, or related field plus 8 years of experience in a financial analyst role. Alternatively, will accept Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Analytics, or related field plus 4 years of experience in a financial analyst role.
Must have: Solid accounting capabilities. Strong math, financial, and analytical skills including the ability to create financial models, and lead efforts to automate and build scalable financial processes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines. Detail oriented with capability to complete complex assignments with minimal supervision. Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel including Power Query and pivot table use, and experience writing logical and conditional functions. Experience with hands-on data engineering with large data sets (including but not limited to, data cleaning, logical transformation, and governance). Experience working directly with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, Domo, etc.)
Salary: $148,096 to $160,000 per year
