Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Develop FPGA/MPSoC-based products
- →Develop CPLD designs
- →Design IP cores
- →Contribute to subsystem specifications
- →Collaborate closely with other hardware and software engineers to test and debug the design
- →Use FPGA design tools to fit design, close timing, and improve fitting quality
Requirements
~1 min read- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or applied science
- Experience with FPGA and CPLD designs in VHDL or Verilog (VHDL preferred)
- Experience with Vivado and/or Quartus tools
- Experience with C or C++
- Excellent revision control habits using Git or Subversion
- Experience with Linux and Makefile-based workflows
- Experience with the bash shell
- An understanding of Static Timing Analysis and Timing Closure techniques
- Experience with Python, Tcl, and other scripting languages
- Experience writing test benches and simulating digital designs
- Experience with in-system debugging of FPGAs
- Knowledge of clock domain crossing techniques
- Knowledge of PCIe, Ethernet, AXI4, SPI, I2C, and other protocols
