About the role:

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Tireperson is responsible for repairing, performing tire assessments, and mounting and demounting heavy industrial tires. This is a full-time hourly position that offers an attractive 4x4 schedule consisting of days and nights.

The position is site-based at our operations in the Elk Valley, and the ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Sparwood, B.C is necessary.

Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies

Mount and demount heavy industrial tires

Repair of industrial tires

Perform tire assessments

Use tire mounting machinery

High School Diploma, General Education Development, or five years related work experience 

Valid driver's license

Qualified Tireperson

Tire Industry Association Certification (Off the Road/Earthmover Training)

Experience working on heavy mobile equipment

Experience working with mining equipment is an asset

Proficient in repair and installation of tires for heavy and industrial equipment

Knowledge on how to operate tire mounting machinery and equipment
