On-Call Snow Operations Coordinator

When winter weather hits, quick communication and reliable follow-through matter. Exterity is seeking dependable, responsive team members to support our snow operations throughout the winter season.

As a Seasonal Snow Operations Coordinator, you will help monitor incoming client requests, connect with the appropriate service partners, and ensure time-sensitive issues are addressed quickly and consistently. You will play an important role in supporting Exterity’s 24/7 centralized Service Operations Center and helping keep services moving during active winter weather events.

• →Monitor and respond to incoming snow-service requests
• →Contact the appropriate service partner and confirm that action is underway
• →Track open requests and follow up until the appropriate next step has been taken
• →Document updates and maintain accurate case information in Exterity’s systems
• →Escalate urgent or unresolved issues to the appropriate operational leader
• →Provide clear, thorough handoffs to the next shift
• →Communicate professionally with clients, service partners, and internal team members
• →Help meet client response requirements, including service windows as short as four hours

This is a temporary seasonal position running from November 1 through March 31. Schedules will be developed based on team-member availability and operational coverage needs.

Shifts will be a minimum of 4.5 hours, with opportunities to work up to eight-hour shifts. Coverage may include evenings, overnight hours, early mornings, weekends, holidays, and active winter weather events.

Sample coverage windows include:

• Evening coverage: 5:00–9:30 p.m. PT
• Overnight coverage: 11:30 p.m.–4:00 a.m. CT
• Early-morning coverage: 5:00–9:30 a.m. ET

• Dependable, responsive, and committed to assigned shifts
• Comfortable working independently
• Calm and professional when handling urgent or time-sensitive requests
• Organized and attentive to follow-up details
• Able to learn new technology and workflow systems quickly
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable communicating with clients, service partners, and operational leaders
• Prior customer service, dispatch, operations, or service-coordination experience is helpful but not required
