Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Accounting from a four-year College or University required.
  • 3-6 years of progressively responsible experience in an accounting environment is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Public accounting experience is a plus.
  • Family Office accounting experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Must have strong communication skills and ability to build successful relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Expertise in Excel and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Spreadsheet Server, Power BI and Concur.
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) active or working towards certification. Preferred
  • Accounts Payable Accounts Payable refers to knowledge of bookkeeping methods to tracking payments a company owes to its suppliers in order to approve and process invoices. Intermediate-Advanced Required
  • Accounts Receivable Accounts receivable are claims for payment held by a business for goods or services that have been ordered but remain unpaid. Intermediate-Advanced Required
  • Internal Controls Intermediate-Advanced Required
  • Financial Analysis Intermediate-Advanced Required
  • Analytical Skills Analytical Skills refers to the ability to gather, organize, research, and review information in order to draw conclusions and solve complex problems. Intermediate-Advanced Required
  • Budgeting Budgeting is developing a financial plan to forecast revenue and expenses and to allocate funds for a defined future period. Intermediate-Advanced Required
  • Accounting Software Accounting Software is a computer application that records and processes accounting transactions per business requirements. Intermediate-Advanced Required
  • External Auditing External Auditing is an objective review of the financial statements of a company. Intermediate-Advanced Required
  • Forecasting Intermediate-Advanced Required
  • Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Intermediate-Advanced Required

Physical and Environmental RequirementsThe physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required on a daily basis to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the work day and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.

 

Travel Requirements10% Occasionally required to travel to other sites, including out-of-state, where applicable, for business.
