As a Cycle Count at our Owensboro Packaging Service plant, you’ll be at the center of our inventory department, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Performing the cycle counts as requested. Cycle counts shall be conducted daily (minimum of 3 days a week).
- Work with the Inventory Supervisor on various inventory audits.
- Participate in all physical inventories.
- Support quality/data entry in all production areas when inventory issues arise.
- Complete all end-of-run procedures and end-of-run cycle counts.
- Make inventory adjustments after approval of the Inventory Supervisor.
- Assist with reject adjustments as needed.
- Make the product ready for return to the warehouse.
- Execute all disposals per the direction of the Inventory Supervisor.
- Assist with preparing customer samples.
- Perform all tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping and forklift operations
- Ability to read and write detailed instructions and memos
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter with excellent organizational and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to work overtime during peak periods
- Forklift operation experience required
- Reliable attendance and physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, as well as perform standing, walking, reaching, and climbing duties
