Are you dependable, organized, and comfortable working around cars? Join our team and play an important role in keeping our dealership organized, our vehicles moving efficiently, and our customers taken care of.

The Vehicle Inventory Specialist is a hands-on position responsible for vehicle movement, lot organization, customer vehicle handling, and supporting our Sales and Service teams. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with vehicles and wants to build a career in the automotive industry.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid driver’s license with a safe, acceptable driving record.
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills.
  • Professional, positive, and dependable attitude.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions, correspondence, and company policies.
  • Comfortable working on your feet and outdoors in different weather conditions.
  • Ability to bend, twist, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
  • Previous automotive, dealership, lot, valet, porter, or detailing experience is a plus.
  • Ability to operate a manual-transmission vehicle is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • →Safely park, retrieve, and move customer and dealership vehicles.
  • →Maintain an organized and efficient vehicle inventory and lot.
  • →Help manage vehicle flow throughout the dealership and Service Department.
  • →Assist Service Advisors and Technicians by moving vehicles to and from the shop.
  • →Assist with service write-up, vehicle tagging, and staging.
  • →Greet customers and provide friendly, professional assistance.
  • →Provide customer shuttle service when requested.
  • →Assist with dealer exchanges and vehicle transfers.
  • →Help maintain clean and safe driveways, walkways, service areas, and parking areas.
  • →Remove trash, debris, snow, and ice as needed.
  • →Report safety concerns or conditions that could affect customers, employees, or dealership operations.
  • →Follow all DARCARS policies and procedures.
  • →Perform other duties as needed to support the dealership team.
