Laundry Aide

Second Shift 3p-11pm 

The Laundry Aide will perform the day-to-day laundry activities in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing the facility, and as may be instructed by the Director of Housekeeping Services, to ensure that general laundry duties, distribution of clean linen, and maintenance of a clean work area is complete.

USD $14.00 - USD $14.00 /Hr.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

• →Perform general laundry duties including distribution of clean linen and maintaining a clean work area
• →Collect soiled linens from throughout the facility, sort them, wash & dry them, fold clean linens, iron linens as necessary
• →May also wash, dry, and mend patient’s/ resident’s personal clothing as directed by their supervisor.

• Must possess at minimum a High School Education or equivalent G.E.D
• General laundry/ housekeeping experience preferred, but not required, as on the job training will be provided
• Must speak and understand English
• Must have reliable transportation
• Experience in a healthcare facility preferred
