About the Role
You will be a critical part of our Engineering team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the core Compute, Storage, and Networking infrastructure that powers our services. A deep commitment to Operational Excellence, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and robust Identity and Access Control (IAM) is essential. You will drive automation and manage the foundational components that enable our development teams to deploy and operate applications at scale with speed and reliability.
Drive end-to-end PaaS and IaaS strategy at Fam — vision, architecture, and execution
Lead infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, infra security, and governance
Make key cloud architecture decisions and build high-reliability infra foundations
Define standards for deployments, testing, infra quality, and release governance
Define and enforce operational excellence metrics across engineering
Build and scale the DevOps/SRE team — hiring, org design, and performance management
Partner with backend, data, and AI teams to ensure reliable scaling of services
Collaborate with security on compliance, cloud posture, IAM frameworks, and audits
Align infra priorities with product and roadmap teams to support business needs
Actively leverages AI in day-to-day engineering workflows and is familiar with tools beyond just GPT/Claude
Strong coding skills in Python/Go, with ability to build internal infra tools and automation
Deep understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure, PaaS constructs, storage, networking, compute
Strong Kubernetes internals knowledge — operators, CRDs
Strong hands-on expertise in Infra-as-Code (Pulumi/Terraform), configuration management, container orchestration
Experience owning org-wide DevOps strategy: CI/CD, infra automation, observability, infra security
Proven track record leading multi-disciplinary DevOps/SRE teams
Ability to define & drive a multi-quarter PaaS/IaaS roadmap
Strong reliability mindset: incident management, MTTR, SLOs, audits
Excellent cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management
Experience in high-regulation or fintech infrastructure
Knowledge of service mesh, zero-trust security, secrets management
Exposure to cost governance, cloud budgeting, long-term infra planning
