CATERING WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE -$18/hr+

The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse, receiving, and storage operations for Founding Farmers Catering & Events and the Commissary at the Culinary Barn. This role is responsible for receiving and organizing deliveries, maintaining clean and organized storage areas, rotating product, and supporting the movement of supplies and equipment throughout the facility. This is a physical, hands-on role that is shared between Commissary and Catering operations and is essential to keeping production and events running smoothly.

WHAT OUR WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE DOES:?

  • Receive, check in, organize, and stock all vendor deliveries including beverage, disposables, food, and supplies for both Commissary and Catering

  • Verify deliveries for accuracy and report shortages or discrepancies

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of walk-in coolers, freezers, and dry storage areas

  • Rotate product in walk-in, freezer, and dry storage areas following proper FIFO standards

  • Remove and purge expired or damaged product according to company guidelines

  • Ensure products are stocked to proper designated zones and labeled correctly

  • Deliver received packages and products to appropriate departments within the Culinary Barn

  • Receive and check in equipment orders from rental partners for events as needed

  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the loading dock, warehouse, and kitchen

  • Assist Captains and Event Drivers with loading vans and trucks for events as needed

  • Support warehouse organization, restocking, and movement of supplies throughout the facility

  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and safety standards

  • All other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE A WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE:?

  • Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, delivery, or catering operations preferred

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, physically demanding environment

  • Ability to lift, move, and carry heavy equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and in varying temperatures

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Willingness and availability to support seven day per week operations

  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language or languages used in the workplace
