2026 Winter Internship | Frisco Bowl | Bowl Week

Frisco Bowl Internship – Bowl Week 2026 (12/9/26 – 12/23/26)

The Frisco Bowl is seeking student interns this December to prepare for Bowl Week.  Students interested in receiving relevant sports experience or college credit should submit their resume as instructed below.  Please note that this internship is unpaid.

Internships will take place at Toyota Stadium and The Ford Center in coordination with the Frisco Bowl (an ESPN Events Bowl Game), and their Media/PR group, BreakAway Sports Marketing.  These internships will allow the individual to gain valuable experience with a professional organization for their future in the sports and entertainment industry. Some nights and both weekends will be required.

The Frisco Bowl, which is Wednesday, December 23rd at 8pm, will be played at the Ford Center at the Star. We will be hosting an additional bowl game on Tuesday, December 15th at 8pm. We are looking for interns to assist with the planning, preparation and execution of events and activities during the weeks of both Bowl Games.  Interns will report to the Executive Director. The internships will take place from December 9, 2026 until December 23, 2026. Start dates are flexible as this is right at the end of the semester and we are aware everyone has different final exam dates.

What you’ll do:

• Assist in the planning and execution of all events during Bowl Week.
• Provide support for the team host hotels, including room planning & logistics, meeting spaces, players lounges, and hospitality lounges.
• Assist with managing inventory of apparel, promotional giveaway items and player gift packages.
• Assist in the development & direction of events including, but not limited to, Joint Team Event, Kids Day Out, Ladies Day Out, Joint Team Dinner, Charity Events, VIP Reception, Pregame Party and FanFest.
• Assist with operational needs on game day (both on-field and in press box).

• For those with digital media experience:
  We are also seeking a few interns with experience or skills in social media management, photography/videography, graphic design, or video editing. Candidates do not need experience in all of these areas; strength in one or more is encouraged. Those selected for digital media support will help capture and create content for Frisco Bowl social and digital platforms using Adobe Creative Cloud applications and Canva. Digital media interns will also assist with the event planning, operations, and other Bowl Week responsibilities outlined above. Interns selected for photography/videography roles must provide their own camera equipment, and access to Adobe Creative Cloud is required for applicable design and video editing roles.

You are:

• Organized, resourceful, and passionate student, preferably with some sports/events experience.
• A self-starter and have a can-do attitude.
• Capable of coordinating multiple projects simultaneously and working under pressure.
• Required to work long days (and late-night hours) during Bowl Week.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be an active college student. Preferably pursing a degree/career in Sports Management or Event Planning.
• Excellent interpersonal, plus verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Canva.
