Corporate Tax Manager

  University degree, preferably in accounting, finance, business, or a related discipline. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.

• →

  Minimum 5-7 years of working experience in accounting/tax, corporate tax experience required, including tax audits, disputes, and transfer pricing.

• →

  Professional designation or advanced tax qualification, such as a CPA or Master of Taxation required.

• →

  Completion of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program preferred.

• →

  Experience within financial services or a complex, multi-entity organization preferred.

• →

  Public accounting (Big 4) or relevant in-house corporate tax experience strongly preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of income tax legislation and practices with respect to a variety of different types of corporate and other taxes

• Good knowledge of the Canadian and global investment industry

• Good knowledge of tax accounting standards

• Ability to plan projects, coordinate time requirements and manage personal work to deadlines

• You have a solid understanding of Microsoft Excel and keen analytical skills.

• Ability to establish effective business relationships

• An innovative and creative attitude

• Ability to contribute to good working relationships among team members and across different groups.
