Nutritional Services Aide - Geneva General Hospital

Finger Lakes Health is seeking Full-Time and Per Diem Nutritional Services Aides at Geneva General Hospital. This is a great opportunity for candidates who enjoy working with people, staying busy, and being part of a team that helps provide quality care to our patients.

Our Nutritional Services team plays an important role in the patient experience. As a Nutritional Services Aide, you'll help ensure patients receive meals that are accurate, appealing, and prepared according to their specific dietary needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Follow production and supply sheets to prepare the appropriate quantities of menu items.
• Meet established production schedules while maintaining quality and minimizing food waste.
• Follow portion-control guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
• Prepare neat, clean, and appealing meal trays.
• Accurately follow patient diet orders and tray notes.
• Pay close attention to detail when preparing and assembling patient meals.
• Work collaboratively with the Nutritional Services team to provide excellent service to patients.

• No education requirement.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Familiarity with hospital food service is a plus.

• No previous experience required!
• Previous food service experience is helpful but not necessary.

• Must be at least 16 years old to qualify.
