SR ENV SVC AIDE-2725

Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Manager, performs project and general cleaning of entryways, corridors, stairwells, public areas, and of all other patient/resident and non-patient/non-resident areas when assigned. Transports trash, linens and supplies to and from assigned areas if required. Observes professional standards, follows department and organizational procedures, and observes safety precautions at all times. Must be 18 years old to operate floor machines and carpet equipment.
naEDUCATION: Preferred: • High School diploma or equivalent LICENSE: PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS: WORK EXPERIENCE: Minimum: • Previous hospital housekeeping experience. Preferred: • Prior experience refinishing and burnishing hard surface floors and utilizing related housekeeping equipment. SKILLS: Minimum: • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner. • Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling. • In accordance with the law, individuals must be at least18 years old to operate floor machines and carpet equipment.
